On July 13, the Church celebrates the feast of St. Henry, a man of great faith, prayer, and charity. As king and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, he built a number of churches and monasteries. There are dozens of kings and queens venerated as saints in the Catholic Church. But St. Henry, whose feast day is on July 13, is the only Holy Roman Emperor to be canonized.
