We sadly share the news that Sr. Kathryn LaCasse, a Sister of Mercy for 65 years, was laid to rest Friday after a long illness. She was 87 years old.
She was a science teacher and volunteer at Camp Fatima & Camp Bernadette and Camp Joy. Sr. Kathryn was even a synchronized swimmer in her younger years!
We thank God for the gift of her life and pray for the repose of her soul. Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.
