Today, we celebrate the feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha. patron saint of Canada, people in exile, people ridiculed for their piety, and World Youth Day.
Later this week, the 86th Annual Tekakwitha Conference will be held in Las Cruces, New Mexico. “The Tekakwitha Conference is the Voice, Presence, and Identity of Indigenous Catholics in North America under the protection and inspiration of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha.” (Source: https://tekconf.org/)
