• Since Friday, 15 pilgrims have been visiting holy sites in Assisi & Rome for the Young Adult Pilgrimage for the 2025 Jubilee coordinated by the CYO/ Youth & Young Adult Ministry Office. Pilgrims have connected the history of the Church in Rome & Assisi to their witness as Christians today and as “pilgrims of hope.” In Assisi, the group prayed at the Basilicas of St. Francis, St. Clare, St. Mary of the Angels and by the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis at St. Mary Major.

In Rome, the pilgrims will walk through all for major basilica doors of St. Mary Major, St. John Lateran, St. Paul Outside the Walls, and on Friday, St. Peter’s Basilica. Please know that they are carrying the prayers of the archdiocese along with their personal intentions through these holy doors and holy places like the tomb of St. Francis in an exclusive after-hours event.

Let us hold our pilgrims in prayer as they bring our intentions with them on pilgrimage!
