Today, we celebrate St. Bonaventure, a faithful servant of God whose heart burned with love for Christ and His Church.
As a Franciscan, St. Bonaventure sought not just knowledge,
but a deep relationship with the Lord.His life was a beautiful reminder that wisdom flows from love,
and it is through a loving heart that we come to know God most intimately.St. Bonaventure’s journey teaches us that faith isn’t merely about understanding, it’s about living out that understanding with a heart on fire for Christ.
A Prayer to Saint Bonaventure:
Saint Bonaventure, pray for us,
so we might seek God’s wisdom with hearts full of love,
that we might grow in both understanding and devotion.
May your example lead us closer to Christ,
who is the source of all truth and love.
