For five days, more than 90 missionaries for the organization Biking for Babies are cycling throughout the U.S. to raise money and awareness for pro-life charities.
A team of eight began cycling in Raleigh, NC, and will travel 400 miles to Philadelphia, PA.
On Tuesday evening, the team stopped in Richmond for a prayer service at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
One member of the team, Patrick Nelson, is a parishioner of St. Jerome, Newport News, and is raising money for Hope 4 Life, a Hampton Roads pregnancy resource center.
