Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
This Sunday we celebrate the Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Let us reflect on the importance of hospitality, as shown by Abraham welcoming the Lord in the first reading from the Book of Genesis and the story of Martha and Mary in the Gospel reading. Let us turn over to the Lord all the anxieties and worries we carry like Martha. Instead, let us choose the better part like Mary and listen to Christ’s teachings and prioritize our relationship with him over everything else in life.
