It has been one year since Bishop Spalding elevated Iglesia Sagrado Corazón de Jesús to an official diocesan parish during a celebration on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in June 2024. The community of Sagrado Corazón celebrated its first anniversary with the same zeal and richness it displayed the prior year, with a Mass that drew hundreds of attendees from the diocese’s largest parish.
