The Saint Dominic Pastorate (Platteville and the surrounding area) invites all in the diocese to a walking pilgrimage in the footsteps of Venerable Fr. Samuel Mazzuchelli on Sunday, August 10! The day starts with a tour of St. Augustine Church in New Diggings, built by Fr. Mazzuchelli. From there, the group will walk 4.5 miles to St. Patrick Parish in Benton for 10:00 am Mass, lunch, the opportunity to pray at Fr. Mazzuchelli’s grave and visit his rectory, Adoration, and a testimony about Fr. Mazzuchelli’s intercession.
Even if you are unable to walk from New Diggings to Benton, you are invited to join St. Patrick Parish for Mass and the other afternoon celebrations!
