• With deep sorrow and profound gratitude, we remember Sister Pat Murphy, RSM, who passed away on July 21. A faithful servant of God, Sister Pat dedicated her life to the Gospel call to welcome the stranger. For decades, she stood at the margins visiting detention centers, advocating for compassionate immigration policies and accompanying those most vulnerable. Sister Pat’s witness was prophetic. She challenged injustice not with anger, but with grace, persistence and the gentle strength of someone utterly rooted in the love of Christ.

Please join us in giving thanks for her tireless ministry and pray that we may honor her legacy by continuing the work she began, building a Church and a world that truly reflect the dignity of every human being.
