Tomorrow, July 26, the church celebrates the feast day of Saints Anne and Joachim, Mary’s parents and the grandparents of Jesus Christ. Some of our parishes are offering special ways to celebrate this feast day:
In honor of this special day, Our Lady of Hope Parish in Portland will celebrate an outdoor Mass on Saturday, July 26 at 4:30 PM, on the front lawn of St. Pius X Church in Portland. Please bring a folding chair to sit on. All are also invited to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy after the Mass. The parish will provide beverages and desserts.
If you’d like to share some time in prayer, the Sodality of St. Anne at St. Hyacinth Church in Westbrook invites everyone to prayer and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 6:00 PM.
