• Our diocesan young adult pilgrims are among the over 3,500 young adult pilgrims from across the United States attending the Jubilee of Young People from July 28 to August 3 in Rome.

On July 30, there will be a National U.S. Pilgrim Gathering organized by the USCCB, with the generous support of the Knights of Columbus and in collaboration with the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame and the website WorldYouthDay.com.

The national event’s theme is “missionary witnesses of hope” and will include a procession with U.S. saints, catechesis, and a Eucharistic Holy Hour, led by Edward Burns of Dallas. Bishop Robert Barron of Winona-Rochester will also give a reflection on what it means to be a missionary witness in the contemporary world.

The livestream of the event will be available on the USCCB’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/usccb) on Wednesday, July 30 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Central Time.
