Arch Los Angeles 2 months agoDuring his early years as a bishop, most likely around 350, St. Cyril delivered a series of lectures to new initiates of the Catholic Church. Twenty-four of the lectures have survived and are studied today.

Arch Los Angeles 2 months agoAmid immigration concerns, “plenty of faithful turned out” to the #NationalEucharisticPilgrimage stop at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday. One attendee was afraid to show up but “in the presence of the Eucharist, his fear went away.”

Arch Los Angeles 2 months agoAn independent #EucharisticPilgrimage, which merged with the #NationalEucharisticPilgrimage, focused on bringing the Eucharist to the 21 California missions, one of which “had not hosted public worship since becoming part of the California Park System in 1906.”
