  • Father Patrick Finn will celebrate a Mass for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis on Tuesday, April 29, at noon in the Healy Chapel at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in Standish.   • On Friday evening, Bishop James Ruggieri confirmed nearly 50 Catholic teenagers and adults during a Mass at Holy Martyrs Church in Falmouth. Those receiving the sacrament represented 13 parishes along with St. Joseph’s College Maine of Maine. This was the first of four teen and adult confirmations in the diocese this spring.

  • Children at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish in East Millinocket participated in a Palm Sunday retreat. The children made resurrection rolls, reenacted the Last Supper, including washing each other’s feet, venerated the cross, and told Jesus that they were sorry for their sins.
