On this eighth day of their Jubilee Year of Hope Pilgrimage, our nearly 100 Diocesan pilgrims visited Lucca, one of Italy’s most renowned Citta d’Arte (Art Towns), including a stop at San Michele in Foro Basilica.
In the afternoon, our pilgrims continued onto the Fattoria il Poggio winery in Montecarlo for an authentic Tuscan lunch and wine tasting.

On Friday afternoon, our nearly 100 Diocesan pilgrims who are currently in Italy for the Jubilee Year of Hope departed Assisi.
Their tour buses drove through the scenic countryside lined with vineyards and olive groves, arriving in Siena, one of Italy’s best preserved medieval towns.
